"A Christmas Story" is classical American Christmas movie that was released in 1983, filmed in Cleveland, Ohio, and is widely considered to be one of the best Christmas movies of all time.

The film is about 9-year-old Ralphie Parker who wants a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas, but his parents and others warn him that he'll shoot his eye out. The movie portrays Ralphie's typical Midwestern life as a boyhood challenges that include being a big brother, dealing with his parents and their drama, and dodging neighborhood bullies.

The movie is an American Christmas classic, and is aired on multiple networks during the holidays. Since 1997, TNT or TBS has aired 24-hour marathons of "A Christmas Story" from Christmas Eve until Christmas Day. This is dubbed, "24 Hours of A Christmas Story."

In 2012, the film was selected to be preserved in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

I had the honor and pleasure of visiting the house where the movie was filmed, along with the housed next to it which include the "Bumpus House," a museum, and a gift shop. https://www.achristmasstoryhouse.com/ https://www.thisiscleveland.com/ www.outcastvagabond.com #OutcastVagabond #RoadTrippinUSA#ClevelandOhio
