The September 11th, 2001 terror attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the plane crash in Pennsylvania were devastating events that shocked the world and resulted in nearly 3,000 deaths.
It was the most vicious attack on U.S. soil since Pearl Harbor in 1941.
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum commemorates the plane attacks on the twin towers, with an outside Memorial where the towers used to stand along with an indoor Museum that features artifacts, tributes, gifts, photos, audio sound bites and videos. It all truly is a must-see for any person visiting New York City: https://www.911memorial.org/
I visited the complex in January of 2021 and enjoyed learning more about what happened that day, as there are many facts that were never talked about on T.V. or the Internet, and being right there where it happened makes it all more fascinating to learn about and to explore.
We will never forget September 11th, 2001🇺🇸
